BATMAN
LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT
by Renaud Bédard

Why not make this film seriously
dark and edgy, a real scary horror type Batman movie at times, a bit
like Batman meets Silence of the lambs, meets Seven; a movie that
would show the hero truly using his detective skills and helping
out Commissioner Gordon with a series of brutal murders possibly by a
serial killer. The movie could also show Batman saving the
Commissioner's daughter Barbara
- THE BLINK
-
Also included in this movie could be an other interesting character
known as the Blink introduced in DC Comic Batman Legends of the Dark
Knight issue 156 in 2002. His real name is Lee Hyland, a small time
thief, and not only he is a freak of nature with no eyes at all, but he
also sees through the eyes of those he comes in physical contact with,
and while he is physically blind he uses the vision of his dog to guide
himself until he accidentally bumps into a serial killer and he is
forced to witness his murders and tries to prevent them. And when
touching Batman he can also see through his eyes and maybe have a chance
to learn of the secret identity, unless someone else bumps into him
making him lose contact
-
ROBIN & BATGIRL -
In sequels to Batman
Begins, the young teenager Richard Grayson would still see as flashbacks
his whole family dying and become the only survivor. One night as Batman
would be on a mission to find the criminals that did this, he would find
on the scene a young costumed and masked kid going by the name of Robin
spying on suspects. Later in the evening Robin would feel that someone
is watching him, and he would set a trap by leaving his cape hanging and
quickly going around only to find himself behind the Batman himself,
taking him totally by surprise and throwing him to the ground. Batman
would try to regain control of the situation but that little wild ball
of fire would cause quite a lot of trouble for him with amazing speed
and great agility; and after a few exchanges of words between the two,
and Robin warning to stay out of his way, he would disappear into the
night leaving Bruce Wayne wondering who that masked kid was. And in the
end of that movie an other teen also appear running on rough tops
playing superhero as well, but this time a young girl going by the name
Batgirl, where the mystery would remain, the end :-)
- THE REAL
CATWOMAN -
After the shocking conclusion of Batman return, we could explore
farther the life of the real Catwoman Selina Kyle, a woman who a few
years ago might have gone through emergency chirurgical procedures on
her face after being electrocuted. And now, a few years later, with her
memory slowly starting to return she would escape the abusive mental
institution to start a new life as a hero defending the innocents and
stealing from criminals and thieves
- BROTHERS
AND SISTERS -
As a character development, it would be easy to add to the Wayne's
history, like was Bruce Wayne a lonely child, or was there a child born
before he, one he of she that might not have survived, or let to believe
that; and for some reason his or her existence was kept from young
Bruce. Maybe even a kidnapping that went wrong, with the kidnapper dying
before a ransom could have been written, maybe a brother or a sister
Bruce would end up meeting in the future, or might already have
unknowingly, someone possibly with a family jewel, maybe a complementary
good luck pendant from the mother at the birth, something Bruce could
recognize, having seen its other half years ago as a child in his
mother's neck
