GREEN HORNET THE MOVIES

If major Green Hornet films were ever to be made, it would be better if all was to be set in the old days, and more respectfully around the more faithful begins of the Britt Reid character as the original 1936 golden age hero, with the very cool face mask of that period, and also a long dark green classic coat and hat design, and all accompanied by his valet and partner Kato in the powerful car the Black Beauty, and with the complicity of his secretary Lenore Case, Casey for short, at his newspaper The Daily Sentinel, who eventually would discover her boss's double life, and Commissioner James Higgins never too far behind. And maybe, these new films would also be an excellent occasion for Britt Reid in his youth, to discover while stumbling on his grand father's old stuff, that he had a famous hero in his family, and among his ancestors was a certain Dan Reid, the legendary Lone Ranger from the old western days, someone that would years later inspire Britt to become the Green Hornet, so he too would be able fight crime; and honor at the same time both classic characters from the same creator Fran Striker, by remaining faithful to his will and his work

Si des films majeurs du Green Hornet (Le Frelon Vert) devaient être faits, il serait mieux si le tout se passait dans le bon vieux temps, d'une façon plus respectueuse et plus fidèlement basée autour du personnage de Britt Reid, le héros original de l'age d'or de 1936, avec le très joli masque facial de la période, ainsi qu'un long manteau et chapeau classique vert foncé, et le tout accompagné par son valet et partenaire Kato, dans la puissante voiture Black Beauty (la beauté noire), ainsi que la complicité de sa secrétaire Lenore Case, Casey pour les amis, dans son journal The Daily Sentinel, qui éventuellement découvrirait la double vie de son parton, et le Commissionnaire James Higgins jamais bien loin derrière. Et peut-être ces nouveaux films seraient aussi une excellente occasion pour Britt Reid dans sa jeunesse, de découvrir en tombant sur les vieilles affaires de son grand-père, qu'il avait un héros célèbre dans la famille, et que parmi ses ancêtres il y avait un certain Dan Reid, le légendaire Lone Ranger de la bonne vieille époque du Far-West, quelqu'un qui des années plus tard inspirait Britt à devenir Green Hornet, pour que lui aussi puisse combattre le crime; et ainsi honorer en même temps les deux personnages classiques du même créateur Fran Striker, en restant fidèle à sa volonté et son oeuvre
