Son of Simon B. Thunder, a bank clerk, and his wife Mildred, as a child of one year old, little Johnny is kidnapped by two criminals, that would dye his hair dark to better disguise him, and he is brought to a tribe on the far away island of Badhnisia, where the child is adorned with emeralds and dressed is holy garments, and he is treated like a messiah and is even chanted over and prayed to by the priests of the island. Johnny is also educated in Badhnisian mysticism, with the belief that he would grow into a child possessed of astonishing powers. The priests of Badhnisia were planning to use the young Thunder and his predestined powers to one day rule the world when he reached the age of seven; however, before that age, the island of Badhnisia was defeated by the neighboring country of Agolea. The priests then would sent Johnny into seclusion to hide him until he would reach seven years of age, at which time they would plan revenge on their conquerors; but unfortunately for them, one day as the little boy would escape the attention of his guardians, Johnny would accidentally stumble into a small boat and is whisked away into the major shipping boat lanes of Indonesia, and there he is rescued by an American vessel and brought back to the United States, and return to his family. Where things could also be interesting would be to see a few years later, the young man doing all kinds of jobs for a living, and witnessing bizarre visions like some invisible guardian angle was watching over him and granting him his every wishes, and Johnny Thunder would consult a psychologist, like something was wrong with him, believing himself just a few screws lose short of being crazy. But then the unexpected would happen as the Doctor would ask his patient to confront his fears, and once and for all to prove him wrong, by asking him to summon this imaginary friend and to reveal himself, where at everyone's surprise a powerful being of pure energy would appear, and the genuine living thunderbolt would stand before them calling himself Yz. Johnny Thunder and his living thunderbolt would make excellent action comedy films, with many funny moments, but also with more serious and even sad moments, as Johnny dying, he would be reborn into a new living thunderbolt with the help of Yz

Fils de Simon B. Thunder, un caissier de banque, et de sa femme Mildred, lors de son enfance à un an, le petit Johnny est kidnappé par deux criminels qui lui teinte les cheveux pour le déguisé, et l'amènent à une tribu dans l'île lointaine de Badhnisia, où l'enfant est adoré avec des émeraudes et habillé de vêtements sacrés, et traité comme un messie, où les prêtres de l'île le chantent et lui prient. Johnny fut aussi éduqué dans le mysticisme de Badhnisien avec la croyance qu'il grandirait pour devenir un enfant possédé de pouvoirs étonnants. Les prêtres de Badhnisia planifiaient utiliser les pouvoirs prédestinés du jeune Thunder pour un jour régner sur le monde dès qu'il atteindrait l'age de sept ans; mais avant cet age, l'île de Badhnisia fut défaite par le pays voisin de Agolea. Alors, les prêtres envoyèrent Johnny en retraite pour le cacher jusqu'à sa septième année, là où ils planifieraient leur vengeance sur leurs conquérants; mais malheureusement pour eux, un jour le petit garçon échappe à l'attention de ses gardiens, et Johnny trébuche accidentellement dans un petit bateau et il est emporté au loin vers les grandes voies de navires commerciaux de l'Indonésie, et là il est secouru par un vaisseau Américain et ramené aux États-Unis pour être rendu à sa famille. Là où ça pourrait devenir intéressant, serait le voir quelques années plus tard le jeune homme faisant différents bouleaux pour gagner sa croûte, et croyant avoir des visions bizarres comme si un ange gardien invisible veillait sur lui et exhausserait sa moindre volonté, et Johnny Thunder consulterait un psychologue, comme si quelque chose clochait avec lui, se croyant à quelques boulons desserrés d'être fou. Mais alors l'inattendu arriverait lorsque le Docteur demanderait à son patient de confronter ses peurs, et une bonne fois pour tout de lui prouver son tort, en lui demandant de sommer son ami imaginaire et de se réveiller; et à la surprise de tous, un être puissant de pure énergie apparaîtrait, et le véritable éclair vivant se tiendrait devant eux s'appelant Yz. Johnny Thunder et son éclair vivant feraient d'excellents films d'action et comédie, avec plusieurs moments drôles, mais aussi des moments plus sérieux et même tristes, alors que serait en train de mourir Johnny, et qu'il renaîtrait entant que nouvel éclair vivant avec l'aide de Yz
